What is your returns policy?
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you’re not satisfied, you can return unworn, unwashed items with all original tags attached within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange.
How do I return an item?
To initiate a return, please visit our Returns Portal at shopalternativewear.com/returns and follow the instructions. You will need your order number and email address to complete the process.
How long does it take to process my return?
Once we receive your returned items, please allow 7-10 working days for us to process your return. We will notify you by email once your return has been processed.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are issued to your original payment method once your return has been processed. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 working days for the refund to appear in your account.
Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent or faulty product). We recommend using a tracked shipping service for your return.
What if my item is faulty or incorrect?
If you receive a faulty item or the wrong product, please contact us immediately through the customer service form on shopalternativewear.com. We will cover all return shipping costs in these cases and arrange for a replacement or refund.
Can I exchange an item?
Yes! We offer exchanges for a different size or color, subject to availability. Please select the exchange option when processing your return through our Returns Portal at shopalternativewear.com/returns.
What items cannot be returned?
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on face masks, hosiery, or bodysuits if the hygiene seal has been removed. All items must be returned in their original condition with tags attached.
I’m returning a gift. How does that work?
Gift returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the order. For gift returns, please contact our customer service team through shopalternativewear.com for assistance.
I’m returning from outside the UK. Are there any special requirements?
When returning items from outside the UK, please mark the package as “RETURNED GOODS” on any customs documentation to avoid import charges. We cannot refund any original shipping costs or customs duties for international orders.

What if I missed the 30-day return window?
Returns received after 30 days cannot be accepted. We may make exceptions for faulty items, which are covered under our warranty period. Please contact us through shopalternativewear.com to discuss your specific situation.
